Part of our Inspiration

While not affiliated with the Roman Catholic Worker-Priest Movement, we do take some of the inspiration for our ministry from the same.   As this page fleshes itself out, we will better explain how we live out our charism as worker-priests in today's world.   Until then, below see links to various articles we have found online about the Roman Catholic Worker-Priest Movement.

Unlike so-called bi-vocational ministries, where clergy hold down part time or full time jobs in addition to being paid for their part time ministry, we do not take any salary from our ministry.   While we may accept a stipend/honorarium for a wedding or funeral, we do not charge any fees for services to the people we serve on a regular basis.   This frees us for service to those who have little or no extra money after taking care of the needs of their families.
